Fantastic firearm. A beauty out of the box. I put on a Knoxx Recoil reducing stock, and now it handles like a dream. I can pop off all 7 rounds on target from 7 yards in about 3 seconds.
With the tactical stock it looks really agressive and is about 3 inches shorter than the standard stock.
I look forward to shooting this gun for a long time.

You can spend $1,500 on a Benellie auto if you want. But for real world use, you can’t deny the 870. For me a pump shotgun gives me more control. If you get a shell jam, you can shake it out by feel. With an auto you have some intricate wok to do. This gun can be drug behind a truck, picked up and fired.

This is a improved version of a older model tactical shotgun that has already proven itself. It''s synthetic stock, large 3" chamber and sling adapters make it perfect for anything. The only shotgun that performs better is the 11-87 Police model semi-auto which is more than twice the price of the 870. The 870 express is the best you can get in regards to reliability, firepower and costs.

I purchased this shotgun for home defense & could not be happier. The only problem I have experienced is that I get separation anxiety when I have to leave it at home. I carry a Glock 27 with me , but it isn''t a 12 gauge tactical shotgun.

The finish on this gun is the worst I have ever seen on any gun. The finish just comes off very easy, and I baby all my guns. Trust me, the worst ever. Other than that, a good gun for the price.
