Both blades lock. Made of 440 stainless steel. Clip blade is the main blade and measures 3.5 inches with nail pull and the traditional Remington trademark etch on the blade. Back of the tang has the pattern number stamped while the front of the tang has the traditional Remington UMC Made in the USA stamp. Secondary blade is a Spey blade that measures 3.5 inches with back nail pull. Back tang stamp is the year of the pattern 2011 and the front tang is traditional Remington UMC Made in the USA. Both blades are tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 56-59. Liners are made of non-rusting brass and the pinched bolsters of nickel silver. Handles are made of gunstock jigged mahogany bone. Embedded in the handle is the Bullet shield.
